I’ve spent most of my adult life searching out transformative experiences.
But these days, instead of going to the retreat center or the monastery or the mountaintop, I experiment.
Experiments are a strangely potent and speedy way to wake up aliveness, access a fuller range of who you are, and create a new perspective. And you don’t need to go anywhere, quit your job, or hit the road to do them. Because an experiment is a way to have a transformative adventure wherever you are at this moment, within the confines of the life you have now.
Experiments can be wild or immensely gentle. The key is moving into a more curious and reflective mode.
When we can step out of our perfectionism, and into our curiosity, we find there is a lot more space to explore who we are and how we want to be in the world. In this way, we are practicing the art of experimenting, rather than trying to do it right.
I love working with women and couples in intimate groups and one-on-one to bring in a more experimental and playful way to navigate rough spots, love ourselves and others more deeply, and bring our unique gifts to the world.
